Figure Out The Money

For the love of your family figure out the money

Have you ever started something and then gave up on it?

I think we all have….

You see, often we will get motivated and inspired to do something

and when it doesn’t go according to our plan

it’s taking too long

it’s “too hard”

or we deal with too much rejection

we give up.

How do you know your not 5 minutes away from your breakthrough?

You don’t.

You don’t want to live your life wandering “what if?”

You want to know you did whatever it took, no matter how long and when you get to where you want to be in life

and people ask you why you did it, you can turn around and say:

“Because I said I would”

I was just listening to the I Love Marketing Podcast hosted by Successful Entrepreneurs Joe Polish and Dean Jackson.

It is one of my favorite podcasts where marketing value and education is shared each week by extraordinary people.

John Paul Dejoria was a recent guest on the show and for those of you who don’t know who that is, he is an American billionaire businessman and philanthropist best known as the co-founder of the Paul Mitchell line of hair products and The Patrón Spirits Company.

He talked about his early years and the struggles and challenges he went through selling door to door.

He made a great point that really struck a cord with me and I wanted to share it with you today.

If you believe in your product or service and have the internal motivation,

you will deal with the rejection and eventually you will come across someone

who wants what you have.

BOOM!

It’s those that are persistent and consistent that reap the benefits at the end of the day.

Sure, it’s not going to happen in 5 minutes and this is the key.

Success is built over time.

“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy cause”

‘Progressive’ means success is a process, not a destination.

It’s something that you experience gradually, over time.

Failure is so subtle, you can’t even see it or recognize it during the process.’

‘The Slight Edge’ By Jeff Olson – Turning Simple Disciplines into Massive Success and Happiness

Often we only see the glory but we don’t know the story.

Most successful people went through hell and high waters to get where they are today.

Its the law of averages.

As long as you keep taking action over the course of time you will get the results that you want.

And if you don’t

it’s no ones fault but your own.

Because when we point our finger at someone else, there’s three fingers pointing back at us.

Every single person on this planet can choose to have a successful mindset.

Can decide to do whatever it takes to get themselves and their family

to the lifestyle they truly deserve and desire.

It’s a small shift in the mind that says:

If not now when?

Your very excuses is the reason why you need to get started.

If I had quit after every rejection, auditioning as a professional dancer for shows,

I would never had traveled the world performing, living my dream while running an automated

business online.

Professional dancers are of the same DNA as entrepreneurs.

We posses a daring heart and driving passion to live our dreams.

Working our absolute butts off to get where we want to be, no matter what obstacle stands in our way.

Because obstacles are those frightful things we see when we take our eyes off of a goals.

Sadly, most will quit 5 mins before their breakthrough happens or they wont even start to begin with.

The real question is:

Are you one of the 95%?

Make a commitment to achieve success today not tomorrow.

Because tomorrow may never come and your family is priceless and worth the fight.

“If you love what you do
and who do it with
and its for a good cause
and your customer benefits the most
by god why would you want to do anything else?”

  1. Hi Alesha Drew great post! I do believe must of the time is about persisting, and just stay in the game. Thank you for sharing it! Blessings take care. BTW Nice outfit, you look beautiful!

  2. One of the biggest problem most people face is procrastination & laziness. Sometimes what’s easy to do is also the most difficult for some reason. There’s also this constant downward pull wanting us to fail, but typically when we make the conscious decision to rise above – choose to be better, we will succeed!

  3. I heard a billionaire network marketer use that phrase on stage more than 30 years ago… Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal. Success is committing time energy resources for as long as it takes! “I will until…”

  4. Powerful post…..There is no quitting and when we know WHY we pursue what we go after, all the “no’s” in the world wont stop us. I remember facing some challenges going through the police academy. What THEY didn’t know….there was NO other option for me…I saw myself making it and being a cop. “They” could NOT stop me 🙂

  5. Alesha, you rock my friend, what an amazing inspiring post. I love the picture….and yet, so many give up 3 feet from gold…the dream is not big enough. Keep on rocking…thanks…much love.
