Psycho Cybernetics Mind

This short video is inspired by Psycho Cybernetics by Dr Maxwell Maltz.

Psycho Cybernetics by Dr Maxwell Maltz is the scientific explanation of the fact that our self image completely controls an individuals ability to achieve a certain result.

Dr Maxwell Maltz was the very first author and researcher to explain the science of the self image with his book Psycho Cybernetics in 1960.

Dr Maxwell Maltz explains that the self image is based on certain ingrained thoughts and hidden patterns of thoughts that when altered, will let you tap into your full potential and experience completely different results than what you were getting before.

He explains how the self image can be changed.

It doesn’t matter how old you are or how young you are, it’s never too late or too early to start a new life of your true desire.

The Illustration Of The Self Image Of Operation – Psycho Cybernetics explains the self imposing limits one can put on themselves that when altered can lead to peak performance.

To bridge the gap between circle #1 and circle #2 will bring you closer to your full peak potential as I explain in The Illustration Of How The Self Image Operates video above.

Success comes from the inside, not the outside.

It is an ‘inside job’ as I like to say.

People often mistake improving their self image by thinking that positive thinking is the main key.

Positive thinking is great but it is not the key.

Dr Maxwell Maltz explains that in order to change your self image you must change your thinking of yourself in order to accomplish your goal.

An example of Dr Maxwell Maltz’s technique:

When someone says: “I WILL get that job” that’s great and very positive, however that person wasn’t thinking about how to change their thinking towards themselves as the key.

Many believe or think that it doesn’t matter but it does.

If your self image isn’t right on the inside you will not achieve the results on the outside.

Everything said, written, taught or spoken about has derived from Dr Maxwell Maltz’s book Psycho Cybernetics.

Every successful person, leader, entrepreneur, athlete or sports team used Dr Maxwell Maltz’s Psycho Cybernetics in many ways over the years. They have gotten their knowledge and education that they needed to figure out their self image in order to achieve the success they truly desire.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this book and how it has affected your life…

  1. I like your illustration of the two circles demonstrating the self image. Nice job. I read this book back in the 1960’s and still have that first copy of it. All the pages are falling out. What Dr. Maltz wrote is very true and your followers will benefit from your teaching what you’ve read.

  2. I first read this book years ago… it was absolutely life-changing for me! I, too, have my original copy… with pages falling out… and highlighted in different colors. Each time I re-read it I used a different color highlighter! I could have just colored in all the pages! LOL

What he taught here… was we need to be aware of our own mindset — so many times we are trying to go beyond that mindset… and if we first focused on stretching it… We would be able to get there!

  3. Glad you are sharing this book and your positive insight Alesha! It really does matter, having a positive mind, positive thinking and that transcends in what we do to achieve and accomplish our goals.

  4. I love the picture you drew for the visual learners! Thank you for this Psycho Cybernetics book review and how you connected to self-developments of online marketers.

    1. Thanks Stephanie, I find that a lot of people learn visually so it’s easy to explain this way with video, particularly our fellow online marketers.

    1. Alesha Drew its on my short list after I finish up re-reading outwitting the devil…I think its time to revisit Psycho Cybernetics after I finish this up.
