Question

What type of people are you wanting to attract into your business?

In the above video I pose this question.

Think about it.

Would you prefer to give someone an opportunity to change their life that understands and is willing to invest their time and money into their new business?

Or would you prefer the person that has the “try” mentality that thinks they can spend a few dollars or even spend nothing to start a business and transform their life?

I don’t know any successful person that spent $7 on starting a business, not investing any further and are now making $10,000 a month.

If you do, please let me know.

Many marketers don’t care about this stuff and just want the “sign up” and commission payout.

Even though they may be well aware that this person is going to create a zillion headaches and want you to hold their hand and frolic through a field of flowers with them.

  2. Powerful message that I agree with you 100%. I actually refused an ‘all in’ sale from a guy (5K sale). Why? Because he wanted to be hand held, taken through the flower garden and to the promised land. I could tell from our conversations that he was expecting his success ‘from’ me instead of the other way around.

  3. Alesha I agree. We have to look at what type of people do we want to attract. My wife and I were getting even clearer on this the other day.

  4. This is a question that rattles a lot of feathers. I have learned the hard way and now I am only interested in the ones that really want to transform their lives! Well done – I loved your video. 🙂

  5. Thanks for taking the time to record this video Alesha. Everyone needs to know this. Knowing that you don’t want just anybody in your business should allow for a mind and heart change. It should make you think about your business in a different way and think long term.

  6. So true, Alesha. Some questions asked up front of a potential team member’s expectations, along with some information s to what they can expect, saves a lot of time and energy for all concerned.

  7. I have at times in my life wanted it done for me, but now after having been involved with my company I’m affiliated with now, I understand the difference.

  8. Great post Alesha! So true. Great question… I know who I want! The people that understand what it takes to build a successful business and won’t quit… EVER! 🙂
